Regional Fire & Rescue Department, Inc serves roughly 8,000 citizens living in an area of 96 square miles. This department is staffed with a combination of paid, paid-per-call and a few volunteer personnel. In addition to our Fire Chief Steven W. Kerber and Vice President of Finance & Administration Tess Kerber, there are primarily full time Captain firefighter positions on each shift, supported by Reserve Firefighters (paid per call and part time) on each 24 hour shift to provide coverage to our response area within unincorporated Pinal County. Reserve Firefighters and Support Services Volunteers are greatly needed to aide us in providing services in the communities that we serve.

The minimum requirements for employment as a Reserve Firefighter are as followed:


     1. Must be at least 18 years of age
     2. Possess a valid Arizona Drivers License with clean driving record
     3. Provide copy of Firefighter I & II Certification (FF2)*
     4. Provide copy of Arizona Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification*
     5. Provide copy of 24 Hazardous-Materials 1st Responder Ops Certification*
     6. Provide copy of Current CPR Professional or Equivalent

     When submitting your completed (and legible) application, you must include the following:

     - Copy of Scocial Security Card, (or similar Citizenship Requirement Document)
     - Copy of current Arizona Drivers License
     - Certified copy of MVD 39 Month Driving Record from the AZ DMV
     - Copy of ALL Certificates related to Public Service/Safety Education
